Tonia Carter Wilson Dies in California Losses Felt in Valley
The body of Tonia Carter Wilson, widow of John H. Wilson, arrived from Pasadena California where she died January 24 1919 from pneumonia following influenza. She was born March 1879 in Alamena Colorado and had four children Isadore Orace Laura and Lewis. Funeral services were held at Booth Park cemetery, she is laid beside her husband. Her children and her father John J Carter of Salem Virginia mourn her. The Moran mail reports deep snow delays and several passengers returning to Moran.
