An operation on Johnny Wort son of Mr and Mrs Gord Wort for acute appendicitis succeeded. He recovered quickly and can sit up already. Parents and friends express strong gratification at the outcome.
Bids will be received until July 1 1014 by district directors for school work. Zenith school teacher Miss Tross Pratt injured in a Sunday horse fall with minor ligament damage. Tom W Lee graduates with Red Bull California High School class, commencement last Friday June 12. Pure Food Club meets Friday with Mrs Woods. N P Bindon at Wort ranch aiding Johnny Wort operation. Ray Storer with a broken leg now in plaster expects crutches soon. Dr Scarborough will be at Hotel Jackson Friday and Saturday June 2.
A Baptist Church event is set for next Sunday evening at 8 90 featuring a children’s program with songs recitations duets and a drill. The program includes pieces by five little toys Calvin Beagle Laure Lloyd Mamie Vogel Ellen Jones Roy Hodges Florence Hearle Davide Timmins and others.
