W H Seelemire of Zenith returned from Newton with high quality registered cows and heifers, adding to Jackson’s Hole reputation for fine cattle and future big game herds.

Sam Massey Killed in Fall Creek Snow Slide

Sam Massey died in a snow slide on the north prong of Fall Creek while his brother Jim Massey and others worked to recover the body. The Massey family moved to Jackson Hole from New Mexico last summer and now faces poverty with the elderly parent bedridden and seven-year-old child. Funeral services were held in Wilson after the body was recovered.
