The State Board of Live Stock Commissioners holds many brands owned by retired or deceased owners. Legislation would let stock owners reapply for brands not in use. The law has proved beneficial by reducing unused brands and easing state encumbrance, aiding both owners and the public.
Inquiries to Spicer and Lloyd about box store bargains and a corduroy coat from Pyomp Sadie. Courier office ads offer same coat for payment. Fur coat repair refine services and new coats for ladies or men by Ripplinger at the Jackson Club House. Social: youths gathered at D Nowlin’s home for dancing and luncheon last Saturday with Ali reported Dre tine. The oldest Timers to host the Club House dance on Dec 14. Jim Kates departed for winter duties after taking a group from Jaskson’s Hole. A baby girl born to Mr and Mrs J J Saunders Wednesday morning but lived briefly.
The winter social calendar features the annual Old-Timers Dance at the Club House on Wednesday December 1. Kelly, a central valley village on the Grow Ventre river, sees renewed life as Grovont Mercantile Co. and Reed Grocery & Meat Co. plan new general stores. Spicer and Lloyd near completion of a purchase of the Grovont store, with W. L. Spicer in charge, while Reed promises a full line of groceries dry goods apparel and notions. Additional summer enterprises are hinted at, signaling a stronger Valley boost from Kelly’s power site and surrounding region.
Reed's offers more savings as a real good old time with a lunch basket at Reed Club House on Wednesday December 15. Mrs. Margaret Simpson and daughter Lizzie, Mrs. GS Ratlit and two younger children visited from Flat Crowk, trading and visiting Erlends. Dr. C. B. Hotel and wife spent Saturday and Sunday at their ranch across Snake River. Mrs. Hugh Smith, visiting at the T. A. Wallace home, left with Mise Whitsett and Rufus Smith for Buffalo Fiat.
The Pure Food Club met last Friday afternoon with Mrs J H B Jones. Owing to sickness the host could not entertain at home and the group gathered at the Jones Bakery for conversation and sewing. Attendance was smaller due to illness, with guests Mrs Fred Lovejoy and Miss Forrestine Forrester joining. A hot luncheon was served, and the next meeting is planned for December 17 at Mrs H M Ely’s home.

Wyoming automobile licenses for 1915 expire December 31 regardless of issue date. To keep numbers for 1916, owners must send applications and remittances before January 2. Dr. Sttner of Seatie organized a company that bought Gow’s herd of one head of cattle last week. The cattle and calves sold for a good price, reflecting a strong market for livestock at the time.
