Sam Smith suffered a broken leg when a hay derrick collapsed on him while haying at the Gue ranch. He was brought to Jackson and examined at the Reed Hotel where the bone was set. The injury will keep him laid up for a period as friends express sympathy.
FOR SALE Two saddle ponies John Wallace Jr Teton Wye A Flat Creek party enjoyed a day camping and fishing in Flat Creek canyon last Sunday with twenty eight present. Rev T A Wallace may be called to Lander by Rev Jacobs head of the American Baptist Publication Society. Harry Wagner and family arrived from Cody. Sot Kelly Texas cattleman visited Hole and may move permanently. Tom and Jim Estes returned from the Lake and are back in Jackson.
Mr George Dew of Pinedale arrives in Jackson with his wife and three youngest children and will live in one of the T Lloyd cottages. A daughter has been teaching in Jackson schools, and other sons may join later if work is found this winter while Mr Dew seeks a ranch location.
