Pine Needle Club Meets in Wilson July 2 1014
The Pine Needle club of Wilson met July 2 1014 and began work on a quilt. During the business session they voted to discontinue quilting at future meetings and to spend the fine money on stamps and envelopes. The afternoon ended with a quilt completed and lunch served by the hostess. Guests included Mrs Edimis, Mrs Dell Judd, and mother. The next meeting is scheduled with Mrs Ward on August 6.

George Walsh barber who opened in W. W. Hall weeks ago was jailed after being found guilty of defrauding a liveryman. Returning a horse eight days late with a ten dollar bank check, he could not pay a fine of 25 plus costs and was taken to Kemmerer. Jackson merchants vow to prosecute worthless checks to curb the practice.

Pure Food Club met Friday July 31 at Mes Otto Lantwek home with fourteen members and four visitors Mrs Tenry Mire Davis Mrs German and Miss Forrester. After business committees led by entertainment, Mrs Wood produced a humorous skit, and a hymn by Mrs iy concluded the program. Luncheon followed at five oclock prepared by Mrs Lunbeck assisted by Mrs Hert Clark and Mrs Hyram Delaney. Next meeting will be at Mrs Beagle’s August Mth. Notices include Beagle becoming Court Commissioner and probate focus.

Local Hay Harvest and Community Happenings at Jackson Bridge
In Jackson on Tuesday the Grovont Hoagland war tale appears alongside several farm notes. Neighbors Raffertio Rewin finished hay, and Tom Walker with Orville helped Clem Starrett. Almy has the contract for a new schoolhouse at the bridges to be ready by December set. Mrs Tom Walker visited Harklore, Mewes Almy and Driskell traveled across the river to water the sawmills, and Shingle and dangster called at Walker’s. Almy and Driskell began hauling lumber for the schoolhouse Saturday. Norman Smith bought Hoagland’s hay crop. Ollie, Jim and Charlie stay at the Bridge house while working hay. The Kellys’ group visited Wlat Creek and Jackson, with George W. Kelly and Winger hones. Allen and Roxie Walker came home from Katinger’s to spend Sunday. Fred and Ray Shinkle left Sunday for the Lake to freight for the Reclamation Service, and Will and John Woodward joined at the Lake. The Lavans moved to W. J. Kelly’s lane to care for him, Joe May and Elinor Wagner went to Jackson Sunday. A bridge-dance is planned Friday with baskets, Sunday School at Hen Gee home at 3.00 sharp. John Kelly, George O. Kelly, wife and daughter went to Bar BC ranch Tuesday.
