Jackson and Butts county will be represented in a moving picture film showcasing Georgia resources. Charles J. Haden and W. H. Healey visited Jackson to promote the project with local funding likely from the city, county, and property owners. The film may include Indian Springs and the power plant and aims to boost Jackson as the Power City to attract enterprises. The cost per view ranges from 12.50 to 25, or 50 cents per foot. The Georgia chamber film will promote Georgia nationwide, with initial showings in Atlanta. Butts county officials F. S. Etheridge and Hugh Mallet attended the first production and praised the scope. The Butts County Fair floats and parade are to be filmed for inclusion in the Jackson and Butts county film.

Prof G E Rice Named New Farm Agent

Carnival Stages Popular Merchants Evening in Jackson
The Merchants Carnival at the auditorium Friday evening, led by the PTA, drew a crowded audience and about $105 total receipts. Forty seven entries represented most city trades with six prize classes awarding two dollars each. Musical numbers enhanced the program and unique advertisements drew interest.
