Moonshiners Held Bound Over For Federal Court

Boll Weevil Does Heavy Damage Across Cotton Belt
J A Taylor president of the National Ginners Association reports about two million bales of cotton valued at 290 million dollars were destroyed by the boll weevil. Nearly 79 percent of the cotton belt was infested this season with damage increasing 34 percent over last year, including new territory and the Atlantic coast.
