The Georgia Bankers Association will hold an extraordinary convention in Macon on March 4, 1920, to decide the policy and position of Georgia bankers regarding the proposed par clearance rule of the Federal Reserve Bank. Strong involvement from members affected by the rule is noted.
The notice calls for par clearance of checks affecting over two thirds of members and argues for equalizing tax values between individuals and counties. It warns against excessive public spending and excess offices while advocating plain, careful taxation. An egg a day is promoted with Reefer's More Egg Tonic.

He accepted and will publish his platform, which supports Lodge reservations, white party control in the South, suffrage, limiting presidential power, immigrant inspection, and a protective tariff. H G Hastings of Atlanta was elected permanent state chairman.
Lieutenant Charles S. Johnson of the U S regular army stationed at Camp Grant NL visits his home this week. It is his first return since last June after serving overseas with the Sixth Division. He is a popular and experienced army man and his friends extend a hearty welcome.
