Andrew Carnegie Dies at 83 in Lenox Massachusetts
Lenox Mass August 11 Andrew Carnegie iron master and philanthropist died today in his Berkshire hills mansion after a brief illness of bronchial pneumonia. He was in his 84th year and had given away more than 350 million dollars by 1918 while supporting libraries and educational institutions nationwide.
