Bond Election Evokes Interest in Jackson School Improvement
Plans by architect P. E. Dennis for the Jackson public school upgrade draw broad support for a May 10 bond election. Residents view the present building as improvable to meet sanitary, ventilated, and lighted standards, with a new structure deferred due to funding. The book for voter registration runs through May 6, and an active campaign is expected led by the Board of Education with city officials and women's groups.
