Homecomers Reunion in Cape Girardeau draws huge crowds
Crowds estimated around 15,000 gather in Southeast Missouri for the Cape Girardeau County Third Annual Homecomers Reunion. The event features a 9 am welcome by Judge John A. Snider, a lively stock parade at 11, and a Saturday baby parade with prizes, plus a long display of local relics and old manuscripts in the Woods building.
