Mr David Bishpham recounts a seance with planchette where a French friend asked whether he should pursue opera or concerts. The device answered Opera by all means and named operas Aula Tristan Die Meistersinger and Tannhauser. He says he was inspired to study the suggested works.

George F Kurre of Lutesville married Emma Hennecke near Jackson last Wednesday in a small ceremony performed by Rev. Haw. Mrs G B Tyndall hosted a turkey match last Saturday night. Mrs Bertie Nevins lost her buggy mare last week when a mule kicked it, forcing its killing.
