Proclamation for City of Jackson 1909 Election Details

Proclaiming conformity with Missouri laws and city ordinances, an election in Jackson will be held on the first April 1909 for Mayor Marshal Collector Assessor Street Commissioner and four Aldermen from wards one through four. Voting places include Foy Frank Mal places Ogler's butcher store Schmuke building High street Jaeger’s plumbing Mueller building and Mary C Williams building plus the Court House basement in the Fourth ward. Died at home Mrs Curtis Miller in Millerville

Mrs Curtis Miller aged about 25 died last Saturday at her home in Millerville. She leaves a husband and three children. Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church in Jackson and interment followed in the city cemetery. The notice expresses sympathy to the bereaved family and reflects on religious themes.
