The Jackson National Bank in Jackson Georgia is authorized to commence the business of banking under the United States statutes. Deputy Comptroller Thomas P. Kane certifies the authorization dated July 8 1908 and bears the seal of the office.
Pursuant to an order of the Court of Ordinary there will be an auction at the Butts County courthouse on the first Tuesday in October. The sale includes multiple land tracts totaling about 373 acres off several land lots, part of the Hale home place, plus a Jackson house and lot, a half interest in Pepperton property, two shares of Jackson Banking Co stock, and has cash terms. Administrator J E Hale Jr signs the notice dated August 28, 1908.

Other moves include S H Maddox to his plantation, Dr. Butner buying Maddox’s East Third street property, Johnson to the Dumble house, and Rutledge with Jake Mayo moving to the McKibben house on Third while Logue relocates to Boaz Alabama.
