Crowder Mays of Flovilla stayed with his sister Mrs. J. M. Goggans last week. Mrs. M. E. Ham visits McDonough to spend the week with her son, Emerson Ham. Miss Mary Nutt played a piano solo at the joint meeting of the Institute literary societies Friday. the performance was highly appreciated and credited to her and teacher Miss McKie.

Third Street Locals Leisure Trips and Visits

Mr. Lamar Pound spent Sunday in Jackson with his family. Miss Carrie Hitchins will spend the next two weeks visiting friends in La Grange, Ga. Col. M. W. McKibben has gone on a pleasure trip to Houston, Texas. Master Walter Norris of Atlanta is visiting Mr. Hane's family. Mrs. Thurston of Griffin is spending this week with her sister, Mrs. Barnett.
