A Bennettsville Marlboro county man J Douglas Moore was fatally shot by his brother in law Bred er at Breeder s house after a dispute over family matters. Moore died within hours. The incident follows drinking earlier that morning and a gun was fired as Moore left Breeder s home.

In HitusBoro Illinois John Wickoff was found dead on a railroad track near Butler twenty three years ago. New evidence implicates George W Cooper a Butler wagon maker as the killer. His daughter now testifies that she was fourteen and saw her father murder Wickoff rob him of a hundred dollars and dispose of the body. The case is under legal review for full investigation.
