Miss Florence Carter Passes Away at Age 23
Miss Florence Carter died Tuesday near the city after a long illness. She endured fever rheumatism and pneumonia, prepared for death and chose funeral songs. A Liberty Baptist member, she will be laid to rest at Towaliga cemetery after services at Towaliga church conducted by Rev. T. H. Vaughn. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Carter, mourn her loss.
