Hunters Bag Record Eight Pound Possum in Pine Nest

John McDonald and Walter Vaughn flushed a quail and fired into a green pine nest where a possum pair was found. One possum weighed eight pounds, a new local record, caught at ten o clock while hunting with two setter pups. The men celebrated with a possum time at the hotel that night.
