David J McMichael Dies After Months of Ill Health
David J McMichael died last Saturday night at his mother's home after months of illness. A Jackson native, he lived in Eatonton Griffin and Atlanta in business before returning to be near his mother. He left a wife Kate Doe of Griffin, a mother Nannie McMichael, three sisters Kate Valentino E M Boyd and Marie McMichael, and a brother William McMichael of Macon. The funeral was in Griffin with interment in the local cemetery as the community mourns the loss of a quiet, devoted husband and son.

Mrs. Mary Flynt died at her son in law Ts W Duncan's home Tuesday morning after being heard speaking to a child sleeping with her. The body was found when breakfast was prepared and she did not awaken. She had been in usual health prior to retirement and was interred at Providence.
