Applin Caught Near Jackson in Murder Case

Sheriff J M Crawford and Chief Lawrence Crawford arrest Joe Applin near Jackson Georgia for the Sparks murder of its police chief and wounding the Sparks marshal. Applin admits leaving Sparks and was found with a 44 caliber pistol after purchasing cartridges. The sheriff awaits officers from Sparks to take him into custody.
