Macedonia Church Council Adopts Prohibition Resolutions
At a church meeting held August 27 1895 W J Kimbell was elected moderator and Joseph Jolly clerk. A committee drafted resolutions urging strict church discipline and broad use of grace to curb vice especially liquor, with enforcement of prohibition laws. A special committee was named to aid enforcement and county papers were asked to copy the actions.
