Conductor Capt Sloan Injured By Runaway Horse
Capt W S Sloan popular Southern railway conductor was severely injured when his buggy was struck by a runaway horse on Mulberry street near New. The horse dashed through a fence and into a hotel yard before being stopped. Sloan was carried to J H Powers home and later taken home by ambulance. He was in serious condition but conscious and improving by night.
