Mrs Ramon Hellums died last Sunday with paralysis. The bereaved husband and children have our sympathy. Uncle Jim Route and Dennis have been very sick since last Saturday but were glad to learn he was better today. Mr Joe M Riddle near Burton is very low with slow fever. There have been many sore eyes cases in this part. Mrs Davie Weaver is fast recovering from a severe spell of slow fever. Elder Wells from Jackson conducted a two weeks meeting in Paden closing last Sunday. Mr J W B Barnett of Route 4 was in Paden yesterday. Mr W C Patterson recently passed through slow fever and can walk the streets of Paden. Mr J H Wart of Burton is nearly unable to rise due to back misery. Uncle Jack Akers was baptized into the Primitive Baptist church last Sunday. Mr J A Lee of Route 2 sold his entire 320 acre tract to Mr J M Wilson for 1400. Rey LM White and wife left Paden to look for a home in Arkansas. The crops are improving after the drought. Mr Chas Shackelford and family left Paden for Caseillia, Miss. Bob Shackelford of Hackles All is visiting relatives. We close. Also a note promoting DeWitt's Kidney and Bladder Pills for back ache and urinary issues.
