Iuka Circuit gathers for quarterly conference notices

In a community letter from J F Reeves readers are invited to the first quarterly conference of the Iuka circuit MP Church at Salem Church on Saturday November 13 at 2 PM. The circuit includes Pleasant Hill East Mt Pleasant Rocky Springs and Salem with Daniel Carson as preacher in charge. WA White and Hon J R Mann announce speeches across Tishomingo County and a More Profitable Farming Campaign is set for November 20. Subscriptions for The Vidette and four magazines are offered.

Fortnightly Club entertains with readings and a unique animal contest

Miss Carrie Bostick hosted the Fortnightly Club at Mrs C D Adams home. A poem Cathedral of Rheims was read, followed by a Maeterlinck paper and a discussion on The Arousing of Holland. Miss Eula Williams won first prize in an animal contest, Mr S F Howard took booby.
