A Southern physician promotes Stella Vitae as a remedy for female ailments. The ad claims universal suffering from digestion and fatigue, offering a guarantee refund if it fails. Bottles priced at one dollar are sold by a Chattanooga Medicine Co. dealer.
A. H. Bacon deed of trust default triggers public sale. On March 25 1916 at the south door of Iuka courthouse the southeast quarter of section 32 township 2 range 11 east Chickasaw Meridian will be sold for cash to the highest bidder per the trust deed terms. W L Elledge trustee posted March 2 1916.
The Chancery Clerk and Special Commissioner announce sale of land under a 1915 decree in Tishomingo County Mississippi. Sale on the first Monday in April 1916 in Iuka at the courthouse, cash bid, includes described land part of Section 33, Township 3, Range 11 with specific boundaries and an accompanying claim for damages from unauthorized entry and gravel removal. The Memphis Stone & Gravel Company may have interests excepted as noted, and the seller conveys only the title vested by the decree.
Rev W T Bazzel writes from Wheeler Mississippi praising readers in Tishomingo county and sharing family illness, church rebuilding, road improvements, and district plans. He notes eight churches on his charge, ongoing Methodist church demolition and rebuilding, muddy winter travel, and hopes to meet friends at the District Conference in Juka this summer.
