Milton Candler died at his Decatur home aged 72. he served in Congress and the Alabama state senate during Reconstruction.

School Locating Board Acts on Several School Sites

Three county locating board members met in Superintendent Carmack's office on Monday. A new district was granted Neil and the old schools at Fagir land retained with 59 and 47 students respectively. A compromise site was chosen between Nixon and New Lebanon. The Paden district was not actioned. Foster school moved inside Dennis corporate limits.
