Ekalaka Mourns Death of Esteemed Citizen G. H. Beséley
Longtime Ekalaka resident Mita ant H Beséley died Wednesday evening from heart failure after a period of illness. Born October 10, 1888 in Lancaster, he lived 55 years and held roles as engineer with W Clark, stock rancher in Beaverhead and Box Elder valleys, and co founder of the Ekalaka Bank in 1907 where he served as vice president. He married Inez Foster in 1893 and left a widow, one son, a daughter, a nephew and two nieces. Funeral services were held at the Christian church with burial in the lodge cemetery.
