Ismay and vicinity residents attend plays, auctions, and baptisms while local businesses expand services. A fine eight pound boy arrives. pelts sold locally. bath house opens. well boring offered. postmaster race heats up. harvest picnic planned. new subscribers join the Journal. several residents travel to county seats for legal or land business.
Sundry School hosts a preaching service at 8:00 p m with the sermon on Steadfastness of Purpose. Frank Babcock, Pastor, extends a cordial invitation to all attendees.
Nearly a hundred residents gathered at Woodmen Hall Ismay to honor Mrs Burt and her children on their surprise farewell to Miles City. The event featured games music and dancing with remarks from Thiele and Prindle and warm testimonies by neighbors. Mrs Burt expressed gratitude while the community noted their years of hospitality and support. Mrs Burt departed with household goods sent earlier in the week and Miss Madge Hamilton of Tee Dee visited the Gray home.
