Various local items include rentals, moves, employment, court meetings, fundraisers, and lectures with names such as Edward Lynch, W Rendaburg, James Lundy, and Dr. Dunham. community events feature a Christmas play, sales, and school board actions.
A Tuesday night incident in Ardsley Park recounts how two men, posing as petty criminals, attacked William Hector of the Petri market and forced a confession. The episode, described as a sensational tale by local writers, left Hector shaken and others recalling the episode as a cautionary myth.

Bigar vice president, G. A. Derbyshire secretary, Willa Ferris treasurer. Trustees include Mrs. Derbyshire, W. P. Clason, and N. Campbell. Library committees list Dr. J. H. Beatty, Miss Bingley Anderson, Mrs. Chassatton. Lori-gyt members include Mrs. J. Gordon Guthrie and Miss Louise Villier. Mrs. Gurt von Wedel and Mrs. W. Miss Fraser family returns to New York City. Brotherhood of St Andrew meets at parish rooms Hastings. Gustave He has left town for Brooklyn. A speed boat from Hastings broke from its mooring and was recovered by the Knickerbocker. Miss Waldstadt takes Miss Dee’s Latin teaching post at Hastings High School.
