William Stuart Dies Suddenly in Irvington Home
William Stuart, a well known Irvington resident, died suddenly at his home 14 Croton avenue after a two day illness from intestinal trouble. Born in Scotland in 1836 he worked for Nathaniel Lawrence and later ran his own grain and feed business. He had been a bookkeeper for Daily News in Tarrytown for the past year and a half. Survived by his wife, two daughters Helen and Florence, and three sons William Kennett and Robert. Funeral held at his residence with interment in Sleepy Hollow.

Irvington May 19 1921 a denial asserts the Building Trades Council did meet the Westchester County Building Trades Employers Association to settle a lockout but failed to reach agreement. Minutes show talks at Getty House Yonkers and Mt Vernon Masonic Temple with a proposed arbitration panel and wage range. Employers refused to arbitrate on the dollar per day but would pay $8.00 if required. council accepted no settlement.

Reynolds resigns from government service in 1921
Edward H. Reynolds assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York tendered his resignation to U S Attorney Francis G. Iffey effective May 21 1921. He will join Frank E.
