Patriotic Service at St Barnabas Church

A vivid Irvington report details a large Patriotic Service at St Barnabas Church for Rev. William Neely Colton departing to France. Clergy from Calvary New York and Irvington churches attended along with Boy and Girl Scouts Red Cross workers and Home Guard. Letters from Bishops Greer and Perry praised Colton and urged his safe return. A First Aid class session in Irvington Public School enrolled 21 members with Gwendolen Dashwood elected secretary.
