Michael McGovern longtime Irvington gardener dies at 80 at his Sea Bright home. Born in Cavan Ireland he came to the United States at 18, lived in New York before settling in Irvington. He married Helen Klerman and was survived by wife Joseph Ferris Nephew and Katherine McGovern. His son Philip McGovern was killed in action in World War I. He was a member of the Foresters and is interred at Skeny Hollow Cemetery.
