Over 500 Attend Exercises at High School Graduation

Earle W. Anibal former supervising principal delivered the principal address to more than 500 parents and friends at the high school auditorium. Twenty nine graduates received diplomas awarded by A. Irving Cumming, president of the Board of Education. Miss Elizabeth Ronald was valedictorian and Richard Ebbets Jr salutatorian.

Alterations Underway on Frank J Gould Estate

The Town Board of Assessors announced slight decreases in assessment figures for all Greenburgh districts excluding Dobbs Ferry. Dobbs Ferry itself shows a small raise of 65000, pushing its valuation above 16 million dollars. District 4, covering Hastings and part of the southern township, stands as the highest valued at 18,705,895 dollars.

Former Resident Ella Chichester Dies in Virginia

Ella Chichester, former cashier of Irvington National Bank from its organization, died Sunday at her daughter Katherine Allen's home in Staunton, Virginia. Born in Poughkeepsie, New York, she was buried in the family plot there. her daughter was her only survivor.
