Rainy LWV Picnic In Irvington Draws 30 Plus Attendees
Heavy downpours failed to dampen the Irvington League of Women Voters annual picnic and meeting at Mrs. Paul Randall's home. Mrs. Louis Grisorio welcomed guests and thanked speaker Mrs. Robert H. Feeney of the Tarrytown League, who relayed insights from the National Convention in Chicago and the new study item on Electoral College procedures. The group discussed a proposed twenty five million dollar Grasslands Memorial Hospital bond issue and reported Westchester County League guidance on the vote.
