Decoration Day Observances Mentioned by Sunnyside Court

The semimonthly meeting of Court Sunnyside No 349 will be held this evening at eight. Members plan to attend memorial services in Tarrytown next Sunday with Court Fremont. About 80 members are expected to participate.

Gerald Cussamanio Injured In Street Collision

Gerald Cussamanio of 63 Main Street was badly injured Monday evening in a collision with Howard Harringtons automobile on North Broadway. He was riding a bicycle delivering orders when struck, knocked unconscious, and taken to Dr Salths office for examination. He is expected to recover over the coming weeks.

Irvington Public Schools announces a series of events for eighth grade exercises and commencement. On Friday June 19 at 2 15 p m at Irvington High School the exercises proceed with a later class day at East Irvington School. Glass Day exercises for the class of 1914 are held at 10 30 p m at Irvington High School with a town hall commencement on Monday June 22 at 8 16 p m.

Mrs B F Dwight spent Monday night in Dobbs Ferry as guest of Miss Wells at the Welfare House. Dr and Mrs Joseph H Beattie motor to Warwick NY Sunday and returned Monday. The local firemen held a drill near the pump on Broadway Thursday evening. officers and men praised. Dr and Mrs Howara cant and son Stewart made an excursion up the river to Newburgh last Friday. Master Charles Brown spending the summer with grandparents. In Connecticut H Von Wedel attended the fiance at Vassar College. Owing to teachers convention in Hastings no school Friday. Mr and Mrs Tucker of Cedar Street entertained relatives over the weekend. Jona Hi Ravekes, Fred Ravekes, Ernst Behrens and friends from Irvington spent Memorial Day at Lake Hopatcong NJ. Mrs Henry Villara visited New York City last Saturday. Mr and Mrs Herbert S Carpenter went to their camp at Loon Lake for the summer. Warwick Todd completed three years in Columbia Liberal Arts. next year to study at College of Physicians and Surgeons. Miss Margaret Kelly of Main Street entertained friends over the weekend.
