Irvington Officials Outline School Upgrades and Projects
THS officials outlined curriculum enhancements including Latin, expanded health and physical education, and expanded team teaching in sixth grade world history and American history. Seminar rooms will enable independent study next year, with increased small group discussions led by students and guided by teachers. Dr Phillip E Sanborn reviewed the plan emphasizing ongoing study, experimentation, and promotion of desired school environment. Board members and residents asked questions for clarification.
