Cardiac Children Home Opens In Former Mansion
The Cardiac Children’s Home has formally opened in the former Miller mansion, recently the residence of the late John G. Luke, now caring for many children. Renovations were done by mechanics to fit the site for the home’s work. Mrs. Louis Levy leads the society with many New York women, and the project is non-sectarian. A court fight over the site’s legality was decided in favor of locating the home in this vicinity, affecting local zoning near the Caroline Home. Contributions are requested.
