Irvington Village Court Fines For Speeding and Light Violations
At a Wednesday night light session the Irvington Village Court fined Charlie Riddle of Pearl River 15 for speeding and 10 for a red light. Kenneth Grant of Tarrytown paid 20 for speeding and Stein Oleskoric 15 for the same offense. Neidbald paid 5 for no inspection certificate. Parking fines totaled 74.

Register Now For Village Election In Irvington
The Seat of Women Voters of Irvington urges residents not permanently registered in their voting district to register. To vote one must be a U.S. citizen for 90 days, at least 21, and an Irvington resident for three months. Registration available Feb 27 and Mar 1 at the Community Center, North Eckar and Main. Absentee ballots available by contacting Village Clerk Treasurer by March 1.

The newly formed Board of the Woman s Auxiliary of the Dobbs Ferry Hospital met in the Nurses Cottage on Thursday February 20. Officers and committee chairmen formed the board. Mrs Ernest Bowen president announced village approval for the annual fair at Gould Park on May 24 with acting chairman Mrs William Emerick. Mrs William Rosivach recording secretary reported Ardsley Girl Scouts are making hand puppets for their toy making merit badge to give to children confined to the hospital. By unanimous vote the board provided draperies.
