The Sixth Annual Banquet of the Get Together Club of Hope Chapel was held in Lyndhurst Gymnasium South Tarrytown on Thursday evening at eight. Seventy four men enjoyed a dinner prepared by the Kings Daughters Circle and the Rum Unity Club. The menu included celery olives butter rolls turkey cranberry sauce peas mashed potatoes ice cream coffee mints and nuts. Charles Vanderbilt of Tarrytown proposed three cheers for the ladies after a tasteful service. The event marked the club's tenth anniversary since its 1911 founding led by Leroy Warren, growing from ten to forty one members. Programs printed at the Gazette office featured pen sketches ME & M and a playful anniversary verse. Toastmaster R G Abercromble guided the program. Music came from the Get Together Glee Club and Orchestra. Principal speaker Dr Joseph A Blake could not attend. other speakers included Rev William Y Duncan Dr W F Irwin Rev W E Weld Mr Charles Vanderbilt Mr Wallace Odell Mr F J Bierce Philip Miller Mr Edward Berrion Mr B Wilbur McDowell and Mr W W Roane.
