The Card Party of the Young People of Irvington was postponed from February 10 to February 24. It will be held Tuesday evening at the Presbyterian Church Parlors at 8:00 p.m. Admission is 50 cents with refreshments and dancing to follow.
A bridge party hosted by the Board of Women Managers in Dobbs Ferry benefits the hospital nurses. Invitations went out for Wednesday afternoon March 11 at Ardsley. Proceeds from selling bridge tables will fund new furnishings for nurses’ rooms and provide rest and recreation spaces.
Ethel Mise hosted a gathering on South Broadway with guests including Salina Dishrow Heddrina Wackwitz Florence St Helen Stuart Helen Konrad Muss Freda Tiles and Mrs Dollehttul Refreshments were served as attendees listened to remarks and socialized. Miss Flo Konra and Miss Joe Stuart attended as well, adding to the lively afternoon.
The Northfield Club presents The Wasp's Nest a three act comedy with light mystery on March 7 at Town Hall. Samuel French of New York supplied the rights and Jack Conway of Tarrytown directs. The Women’s Association of the Presbyterian Church will hold the regular monthly Missionary Meeting Thursday at 2 20. The Rev George J Heddon will speak on the Lumber Jacks in the Northwest as part of American the Seattle context under National Heats of Missions. Luncheon precedes at 1 00. Charles Toe, son of Mr and Mrs Thomasco of West Clinton avenue and University of Virginia student, is expected home for the weekend.

Enthusiasm rose as members hoped for a strong future as plans mention a minstrel and talent show, with a card party and dance set for March 11.
