Frank J. Fay died at Tarrytown hospital on Monday evening February 10 from pneumonia after a decade of poor health. A Dover Vermont native, he lived in Tarrytown over thirty years and worked in various trades before retirement. Survived by five children including Charles A. Fay, with grandchildren and a long, varied career in hardware and coal businesses. services held at Hollow Cemetery with remarks by Rev. Schol.
Mr and Mrs Frank Conners of South ED Street entertained many friends at their home on Monday evening for a card and domino party. James J Flood assisted rector of Immaculate Conception Parish spent days at Atlantic City.
A Father’s Night event and card party are planned for February 20 1928. The Father’s Night program includes community singing led by Prof. Wm H McCtell and piano by Claude De Tusey, with numbers by Marie Fischer and Leon C Faulkner. Refreshments will follow the social period. The card party by the Children of Mary Sodality begins at 8 20 AM February 20 1928.
Over 100 former members of the Women's Club traveled to Tarrytown on a Wednesday evening for a first reunion at St Faith's House. Mrs William Usher Parsons, former club president, greeted guests. the event highlighted the ongoing work at St Faith's House and inspired support for future efforts led by Mrs Isbel.
The Rev T J Donlon officiated the wedding of Virginia Corey and Maxwell Erdogy. The ceremony featured the bride in pale green with a picture hat, a bouquet of American Beauty, and a sister Miss Mary in tan with a matching hat. After a turkey dinner the couple, now Mr and Mrs Erdogy, will honeymoon in Atlantic City aboard their new Chrysler car, soon settling at Forest Park Apartment in Kew Gardens.
Mrs John Daniell formerly Mrs Junvell Te Hopkins died suddenly at her Woat residence after recently moving from the city. She was a short time ill before death. Survived by husband one son and three daughters. Funeral details not yet available.
Kennedy Stevenson, the th en son of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Ardaley Park, is undergoing treatment for a severe mastoid infection. He is reported improved at this writing.
Sunnyside Circle No 642, Company of the Forest of America, met on Weine in West eater County Sins Annie Lahdwie and staff will attend to perform work. The chairlady announced a drawing on a Cedar Chest worth about 200 dollars and urged donations for a local shop display. The chest contents will be worth about 200 dollars and a 25 cent share Renovation Fund dance planned at Holy Name Hall tonight by local residents.
