The Choral Club presented well known musical leader Paul Simmons a fine gift at a special program. Arthur C Lord and members of the club expressed gratitude. a social hour followed with refreshments and musical numbers by John R. Neilson and a quartet.
Mrs Mehard Hehrens of Mehirens Park entertained many friends at her home for a birthday program broadcast over the radio. The guests played bridge and prizes were awarded to winners. The hostess received compliments on her cooking as the guests enjoyed a bountiful repast.
Pinocchio enchanted local children at Hastings High School last Saturday in a Theatre of New York production. Dobbs Ferry Hospital remarked on good ticket sales and several prize winning posters from village exhibitions. Managers praised ushering by Grace Young Miriam Kaufman and Jeanne Urleigh while noting two remaining performances on the next two second Saturdays in April.
