Decorative hand crafts exhibit opens at Irvington Children's Museum

A new exhibit of decorative hand crafts opens Tuesday February 10 at the Children's Museum in Irvington and runs through March 15. Featured are enamel work by Peter Hayward and Winter, Clare Wyman, Vicki and Sorenson. Royal Copenhagen and Roy Dalton porcelain figurines. tiles by Baneway and Cote. Tucks by Ventury. and wood items including a streamlined bus and rocking horse. National Gallery of Art loaned ten color renderings to accompany the display. Jury members for the photography prize are George Karn and Robert Drake. The event includes a Saturday program February 14 with free admission.

Long Illness Fatal to T. M. Connick

Thomas M. Connick died at his estate home after a long illness. Funeral services will be held at the Church of the Immaculate Conception on Saturday morning. He was active in the Italian American Society and resided in Treington. Surviving are his wife, a son, a daughter, and four grandchildren, with several brothers living in New Jersey and East Livington.
