Matthew Gilbert, a resident of East Clinton Avenue, was seriously injured last Friday after plunging down a staircase at his home in Tarrytown. He was reported “resting comfortably” at the hospital after an ambulance transport from the Chevrolet Plant. He had returned home to join his daughter Mary Elizabeth’s birthday party and went to her room on the second floor to retrieve a radio gift.
