Youth Center outlines a busy week with youth basketball results and upcoming games. The Boys Basketball League saw a 28 40 win by the All Americans over the Stans clida with Roger Azzaro scoring 14 for the winners and trophies for the losers. The Pros beat the Aces 25 9, led by Phil Lacey with 32 points, and Bruce Tarnley and Bob Stanhope split 44 points for the losing side. Upcoming Saturday February 12 at the high school features Stars versus Apes at 9 15 a.m. and Pros versus All Americans at 10 15 a.m. Midget AR Star practice starts 1:00 p.m. Junior plays a free play period 1:00–2:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon, followed by senior free play 2:30–4:00 p.m. Mid el basketball practice is set for Tuesday February 16 and Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. Amateur Show editions are tonight February 21 at p.m. in Town Hall auditorium for acts that have never won first place. Rehearsals for selected groups will be held during the week. Other Youth Center activities include February 13 physical activities at elementary school for boys seven to nine, and 10 15 a.m. and 1 00 p.m. coed ten to older, with girls 11 and older. Tuesday February 26 8:15 p.m. high school band room dance band rehearsal. No events are scheduled for Saturday evening February 13 due to the high school dance.
A detailed explanation of physical education taught at Irvington Elementary School was given at the PTA meeting. Dr Daly announced social meetings and the next session will focus on reading and the emotional and social development of students.

A search is under way for a mold style vintage Girl Scout uniform from about 1925. In Dobbs Ferry, as part of the Girl Scouts 20th anniversary celebration on Sunday March 6, Winslow Wheeler hopes someone will locate an antique uniform in an attic.
Irv ington Fire Department rushes to the former Rosso residence on Lewis Road to extinguish a couch blaze. John Doherty of Tarrytown reports his tool shed broken into and set afire between yesterday afternoon and this morning. Bella Campbell of South Broadway travels to Florida for a question.
Miss Jacqueline Vincent daughter of Mr and Mrs Mitchell Vincent and a junior at Irvington High School has been chosen to sing in the first soprano section of the 48 490 voice eight piece choir at the Eastern Section of the National Convention of the Music Teachers in Atlantic City March 18 2 This choir a band and an orchestra will perform a concert at the final meeting of the convention Phyllis Whittaker music consultant in the Sevingler Elementary School will attend the convention.
Joseph Curt of Alleadow Way parked his car on Bridge Street before boarding a commuter train to New York City. That evening the car was missing and the police issued a stolen notice. Tuesday evening a caller reported a recovered vehicle in Elmsford matching the description and ownership. Police and PAL checked the scene with Sgt. Leo Beck.
Aimee born February 3 in Burling ton Vermont weighing 7 pounds 8 ounces. Rev. Martinson former pastor of United Church of Fairfax and Methodist Church of Binghamville Vermont is son of Joan Martinson of Dunedin Florida and the late Mrs Marrison. The couple also have two daughters Susan and Patricia.
Andre Marchal, renowned French organist, will perform at South Presby Church in Dobbs Ferry on March 10 1960 to aid funding for the church’s newly rebuilt organ. He is based in New Jersey and teaches at a national institution, with many U.S. concerts and Unicorn recordings noted. Tickets requested as two dollars or more per person with donor names listed for advance notices February 26.

Earleo N Revel of Mountain Road enrolled in the Northeast Retail Lumber Training Institute at the University of Massachusetts Amherst Mass from February 15 to 28. The program gathers representatives of retail timber and building material dealers in New York and New England for intensive training in the fundamentals of the retail lumber industry.

Rocco Venditto Bies eighty four year old resident of Irvington died Tuesday afternoon at his home on 2 South Bekar Street after a long illness. Born in Italy on August 26 1885 he came to this country long ago and lived in the village for 48 years. He worked for Lord and Burnham then for the Sanitation Department from 1926 to 1947 and for the Park Department at Memorial Park until retirement in 1957. Survived by wife Nancy Batista two sons John of Yonkers and Vincenzia Gimmy of the Irvington Highway Department and three daughters Domenica Mastropietro Madeline Clemens and Carmello Colantuono all of Hudson View Park eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at the Church of the Immaculate Conception with a Solemn High Requiem Mass. The body is at the Dwyer Funeral Home in Tarrytown and interment will be in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
The Brotherhood's Mother's Club plans its annual card party on Friday February 25 at 8 p.m. in the school auditorium with a Fashion Show of chicken salad and other displays by The Daten Door and chairmanship by Mrs. James J. Dinan. John Skis-Suck of the League of Women Voters speaks on court reform, Mrs. Robert Sheridan becomes treasurer, and Mrs. Paul Murray resigns the post. Mrs. Helen Duggan returns home after convalescing from surgery.
Irvington High School Key Club and Immaculate Conception Church host a dance February 27 in the church gym on North Broadway to raise money for the Tevington Youth Center Easter Egg Hunt. Admittance is 1 per couple, 75 cents for singles, with music by a small combo and free refreshments. Plans include a Boater Bunny arrival to signal the hunt at Memorial Park.
