The Yonkers Scottish Choir concert last Friday night in Town Hall drew a large audience and was judged well worth the admission. After the final chorus dancing followed, enjoyed by many local and visiting patrons. Miss J Purcell Carroll, former High School teacher, was a visitor the past week.
The Irvington notes cover club activities led by Mia s Learned with chorus rehearsal and an upcoming dancing lesson by Miss Jane Dirling. Residents receive updates on health, travel, theater posters for a school play, transportation news, marriages rumors, and local obituaries of community figures.
On Friday evening the Y M C A presented a play titled His Wife's Maid. Performers included T C Bell W B Talleman M Wiayette C A Talleman Clara Flayette and B League of the St John Dramatic Club Pleasantville. About $100 was realized.

An Alt Club from this village visited Hackley School at Tarrytown on Saturday afternoon and defeated the Hackley second team 29 to 1. The game featured fast play on both sides. Frank Sweetman and Robert Abercrombie led the visitors with strong performances.
