Ironwood council meets March 20 1901 ironwood MI
The Ironwood common council held a regular meeting presided by Mayor D J Sutherland with aldermen Fox Stevens Lesselyong Lotberg Speare Stromquist Junell Hoskina Thomas Tregembo and Oliver. The finance committee reported on city treasurer accounts certificates of indebtedness and interest coupons and recommended destroying paid items and adjusting the 1901 tax levy base raising general fund from 7864 to 9000. The council adjourned after approving the committee report and a resolution authorizing 31000 to cover outstanding items.
