Mrs Strom Succeeds Husband as County Register of Deeds

Mrs. Alex Strom, long a deputy in the register of deeds office, was appointed to succeed the late Alex Strom. Judge of probate William S. Baird, County Glenn John Luxmore, and prosecuting attorney Harold J. Wayples approved the appointment. Fred Brewer was the only other applicant. Also, work will begin to move the Donovan flat to Summit Drive and Frederick Street, where a foundation is being prepared for its use as an apartment house.
