Ten gold stars mark the area flag after the death of Corporal Jack D. Zambrovitz in a Lovington New Mexico trainer plane crash. He was stationed at Randolph Field Texas, born Ironwood October 27 1922, a Luther L Wright High School graduate and air corps recruit. He is survived by his parents Mrs and Mrs Joseph Zambrovitz Ocean Port New Jersey a sister Mrs George Swistak and two grandmothers. He and Second Lieutenant Herbert H Bellew were killed in the same crash voyage east.
